Australia was my fav so far, followed by Sweden. The Swedish act was impressive is all possible counts, but that Aussie Guy had a pretty nifty song. apologies for the pun

"Austria's commentator called Britain's performance "a three-minute long cry for help""

Here's to hoping Georgia wins! Or Australia. Or Sweden. Or us :D

Ours was actually in the spirit of Eurovision though, unlike a lot of them this year. Thought the song was pretty okay but didn't like the singers.

The UK wins the prize for craziest song of the night, hands down. There wasn't any other crazy bizarre, if anything Georgia but in the good way :D

CONGRATS SWEDEN <3 So happy for you guys! Sweden's consistently always been one of my favourites so I'm really happy you guys won wew :D :D Well done to Russia, Italy and Belgium (and Guy wew) on top 5 as well. Definitely a great show today.

Germany and Austria- good job guys.

Actually has there ever been a case previously where the hosting country got a nil-pwa?

Also I'd like to take this opportunity to give a shout out to my UK friends. You guys deserved to do better than you did, but kinda funny that Australia beat you in Eurovision as well ;)

OMG THIS WAS THE BEST NIGHT OF THE YEAR I LOVE EURO SO MUCH. ♥

UK got a little cheated - yes the song wasn't the best but it really deserved more than 5 points :(

Sweden were very deserving winners - the voting process was so tense with the Russia/Sweden race but I'm so glad that Sweden overtook in the last few minutes. Was honestly the most exciting voting session I've seen so far.

I personally called up to vote for Slovenia (they should have done so much better, my favourite song of the whole contest), Serbia (my second favourite, again they were incredibly good and I adored the transitions in the song) and Estonia (they did pretty well, happy with them!). Really feel bad for Slovenia in particular, their song and performance were immaculate but being first up is always a curse for failure. :(

As I expected, Sweden were the winners. I have heard about them being the favorites to win and it turned out the predictions were right. But wow Australia actually did better than I expected, 5th place is not that bad at all.

Aaaand it's all over again, congratulations Sweden! It really was a well-deserved win.

Sweden and Russia were pretty neck and neck, and I already counted on Russia to win. But the tide has turned and Sweden won by far--although both of them would have been worthy winners.

We could have done a little better though, zero points for Austria hahaha. Well, at least we're not alone, Germany's on the same boat as we are. I knew The Makemakes wouldn't make it far up, but I didn't expect no points at all. However, it's not like I care much anyway, it was a nice show and the performances were really enjoyable! :) In fact this was the first time ever that I watched Eurovision from the beginning to the end.
