90's cartoons. Like, can we just say that those were the best days ever? Does anyone agree? Not that I hate a lot of the stuff now but... none of it can ever compare to the 90's. I pretty much grew up with 90's cartoons.

  sure they may listen to it when in the car, but they really don't get it. Back then the radio was the only way you could really explore new music. Doubly so if you weren't blessed with a reasonable cassette player or CD player and cassettes/CDs with the music of your liking.
• MTV/VH1/CMT - When these channels ACTUALLY WERE DEVOTED TO PLAYING MUSIC VIDEOS AND MUSIC ALONE!
• The Game Boy, GBC, and GBA
  These little portable consoles were an escape from the harsher realities of life.

  While they were hungry little monsters; consuming batteries at a high rate during intensive gameplay. Good batteries could get you through a marathon session with no problem, allowing you to beat that game with plenty of energy to spare. Cheap dollar store batteries were always an option; especially if you had minimal allowance to spare, but there wasn't much life to them...you could only play about 6 hours on a set before they died off.
• Boybands
  God they were amazing.

  They often had golden voices and were normally really easy listening. You could sit for hours and listen to them. As a teenager I often let the mellow sound of the Backstreet Boys melt away my troubles and take me to a happier place. Before I discovered anime and such things online, they were literally all I had. Notably, N*SYNC and Spice Girls were also bands I enjoyed...even though the last isn't technically a "boy band".
• Combination FM Radio/MP3 Players
  I owned a Creative MuVo and a Zen

  I owned a Creative MuVo and a Zen
  with a solid 256MB(MuVo)/2GB(Zen) of storage onboard and the capability to tune into the FM radio bands. This little player, powered by a single AAA battery (Rechargeable Battery on the Zen), was a reliable source of good music no matter what my mood was.
• Zune player - This is the same as above but was more advanced. I owned both a 1st Gen 30GB and a 32GB ZuneHD. I loved them dearly. The Zune absolutely DESTROYS the iPod in comparison...but Apple had the traction already. RIP Zune. You will be missed forever.

Myspace and custom profile pages were a thing back when I was growing up.

Basically me except replace MySpace with Bebo. Wow the amount of hours that I sank into that website was unreal. And it was still leagues better than Facebook. A shame that it has become a weird clone of twitter and some kind of simulator.

Oh my god I remember playing that at the library all the time. I really miss it. Apparently the maker of it got a C&D and had to take it down.
