I was just casually scrolling through my YouTube feed and then this just appeared out of nowhere xD This is the first time in ages that I've just come across a newly released trailer or information for a Pokemon game without being notified that it's gonna happen via Serebii.

Anyway Salandit seems pretty cool, I love the Poison/Fire typing but I'm not sure yet if I'll want it on my team. Loving all the new Pokemon reveals :)

Salandit has a bad guy feel to him through and through. The marking on its back looks like a diagram of magma pools in the Earth and release path up to the tail. Interesting pokemon indeed. Komala still won't be poisoned by it due to comatose, but Really creative ability.

And look at the cool background of molten lava

If Corrosion can bypass type effective immunities, there isn't much to say that it can't bypass ability immunities as well. We have a few abilities that allow for that already. Defiantly won't rule out Saladit being a counter for Komala.

Salandit is a pretty cool guy.I like him. He seems to be based on a salamander or some type of lizard. I like the thief/burglar vibe he's got going on. I hope he evolves into something badass like Krookodile. I've always wanted a Poison/Fire too! His typing is gonna good against Fairy types yes?? Seeing Fairy are weak against Poison and not very effective against Fairy as well and it's Fire typing makes it resistance to Fairy moves too. Sounds like an amazing combo.

He is definitely good against Fairy-types because he's 4x resistant to the type, the only one we had that heavily walled Fairy moves until now was Heatran. The only downside with Salandit's typing is that Ground-types murder him, but it's still an awesome type combination nonetheless.

I figured there would be a new pokemon from Japan Expo today. I think I mentioned a few times in Future Updates. Most people didn't think it would happen though :P

I really really really love this pokemon. I really hope it becomes as cool looking as Krookodile. This pokemon, I wouldn't mind if it becomes a bipedal.

I believe that any Pok?mon that has a 4x resistance to Fairy would also have a 4x weakness to Ground. The types that resist Fairy all have a common weakness to Ground types.

Yeah I can see him doing fairly well in the metagame due to his typing. I'm just hoping he also has good stats or a good evolution to go along with his typing. I seriously seriously want something like Sandile's evo line. Badass and powerful.

Salandit has three 4x resistances which is usually rare. In this case he quad-resists Fairy, Bug and Grass, but in regards to his evolution line I'm likely expecting him to evolve once although he could pull a Sandile and evolve twice.

The new trailer was shown, it showed Eevee's Dex Entry, and it didn't seem to have any new spots. It only had 8. So this likely confirms that there are no Eeveelutions in 7th gen.

That is heartbreaking.. I really wanted a new one.

Anyways I like the idea behind the two newest revealed pokemon, but still not entirely interested in the designs. The hiding ghost could be really cool if it disguised itself as other pokemon besides Pikachu, but still not excited for those two.. I am hoping July 17th gives something exciting since there won't be any eeveelutions

According to what I have seen and read, it is based on Pikachu because for some reason it is the most popular pokemon in the game world. Which is hard to believe, but probably because Pikachu is the most well known. I am kinda thinking this pokemon may not have an evolution. Not sure how the could evolve it. But it is based on the Pikachu Merchandise which was apparently popular at one point.

I am thinking that the bear might be an evolved form of a pokemon we haven't seen.

I was also hoping for an Eeveelution since we only got 1 in Kalos. So a bit of a disappointment, but it was thought there wouldn't be one anyway. It is still possibly possible that we may get one, but it may be later on after the game. Similar to how they handled a large amount of the evolutions in Sinnoh, but I am doubting it.

Not sure how the could evolve it.

It could be like, two evolutions where the primary evolved one could take the disguise of only those Pokemons which would be in the first or second evolutionary stage and the secondary one could disguise itself into and acquire some properties of any Pokemon it wished to.

Can anyone tell me what "Fluffy" does ? It seem like an ability that reduce Physical damage.
Maybe Kiteruguma will be like "Kung Fu Panda" with a fluffy body that make all attack bounce off .
Man , I want Ash to catch a Kiteruguma even more.

As Angie said, we still don't know what Disguise (although Serebii has now seemed to rename it False Colors) and Fluffy do at this stage.

Also Famon, an ability that reduces physical damage? I believe that's Fur Coat (Furfrou's signature ability) that you're talking about there. Fluffy I just can't see doing the same thing.

I know it is an odd one, but I really wanted a Rock eeveelution .

Anyways.. if the bear ends up being a 2nd evolution to another plump little rolly-polly pokemon... the cuteness meter might explode

Looks like focus is going to be taken away from Mega Evolution. The trainers are clearly carrying a variation of the Key Stone, but it seems to have a new feature that was previously unknown. The origins of the Key Stones have never been made clear. Seems like they can effect all Pokemon on some level, Ash/Greninja style. This means that we probably won't get many new mega evolutions. Maybe a handfull of the new Pokemon will mega evolve, like another Ice type and Electric type. They each got only 2 megas. That's just not fare.

This means that more time has been spent creating new Pokemon. We'll probably have over 100 new Pokemon. And the Pokemon I've seen so far are rather interesting.
