I have a firered rom and advance map, I also read a guide on PC for using it. I just don't know what you need to do in order to start actually being able to create effective towns and fields.

Lol. First you need a Advanced Map, And a Atleast a ROM. use google. you got a choice between Ruby/Saphire/Emerald/FireRed/Leafgreen. But I guess you know that. Dont worry I knew nothing until I saw stuff on youtube, But i learnt from myself and others. so yea>
