I now know that hacking Pokemon Games is not illegal now.

Just be a good person, and don't say to anyone on PokéCommunity that ROM Hacking is illegal, because that's just posting things trying to make people get attention (in other words is trolling).
The only thing that is illegal is that if you put it on a flashcard to try and get people to buy make money out of it.
