You will find your friend code in your Pal Pad. Which should be in your bag. It should be in the key items section where your bike is. Then you find your Friend Code and tell the opponent you're interested in vsing your friend code and that person will tell them theirs too. You register their friend code in the pal pad too. And the rest is easy. Then you go downstairs in the Pokemon center and go to the middle lady for Wi-Fi.

The Pikachu family- Pichu, Pikachu, and Raichu- are not legendaries. Pikachu is really just the Pokemon Franchise's mascot.
Pichu evolve only when they really love their trainer. To make it love you, you should keep it in your party, have it battle, do NOT let it faint, and give it the item Soothe Bell if you have it. When it loves you enough, it will evolve at its next level up UNLESS it is holding the item Everstone.
