My name is Kip, and I am a Mudkip (there was and accident involving a wizard and a telephone bill which I don't want to go into right now). I'm from the mysterious land of the UK and have been fanatic about Pokémon since '99 when it was released here. I've had at least one game from each generation so far, starting with Red. I'm also into the Mystery Dungeon series as well as Pokémon Pinball.
I generally float around everywhere on the forum making the occasional post (more so between semesters), and you may see me in the Hacking section drooling over some of the better ones (Super Rising Thunder rocks ^^).
I'm known for coming up with and running the PokéCommunity Egg Swap event at various Get-Togethers and at other points when I'm around. I've also helped out with the graphics in two forum styles, The Top Dog and Stunfisk'd (the latter was particularity fun to do) along with Nica (username Forever). - Interests
- I (almost) have a BA (Hons) Degree in Digital Film Production, and I love filming and experimenting with different techniques. My trade is mostly in editing (http://www.cloud13.net for my professional work SHAMELESS PROMOTION), but I like doing a bit of everything.
As a hobby I'm very into graphic design (as you can probably see from the profile), and I enjoy making banners, userbars and boxcovers for people as the mood takes me. ^^ I also do actual drawing too... though I'm not as confident at that. ^^' If you're interested, take a look to your right at my galleries. --> - Location

So I've been spat out of the other end of University this week and I am now living in the real world. That's it for me so far a full-time education is concerned. Not sure how I feel about that - it will probably hit me in a few weeks that I need to look for a job else I end up living in a box on a street corner saying 'Will badly draw Pokémon for food..." to passing strangers.

Just over a year ago, I posted this to my blog about alternatives to the Competitive Battling standard that's dominating online Pokémon battling, which I dubbed 'Playground Battling'.

I know this has been done before, but I went a little further.
Circa 2002. Really circa 2002, with a system to match (yes, nerds, Classic was still used). Back when Ruby and Sapphire were merely rumours, back when GameBoy Advance was the cutting edge of handheld gaming, back when 251 was enough. I know I've only been here for 4 of them, but I think it's awesome that PC has been going for 10 years and I'm proud...
