  1. Sad News - Maddie Blaustein has passed away

"I'll drink ta dat!" Brooklyn-sounding Meowth was awesome. It's very sad that she's passed away. To me, there's no substitute for Meowth. R.I.P., Maddie.
  2. The Daily Chit-Chat [2008]

I'm not denying that. I think it's better for me to say that Christmas isn't celebrated as if it's religion-specific.
  3. High Touch!/Surely Tommorrow CD

I guess you guys can say OK! is OK? (Ha ha ha) High Touch! isn't the best intro. I'd say the best by Rica is Spurt!
  4. The Daily Chit-Chat [2008]

I don't think that Christmas is a religion-specific celebration. In Japan, everyone seems to celebrate it only for a certain fat guy (or slim cosplay girl) in a red suit, his reindeer, and the presents.
  5. I think Giovanni's gotten a little old...

I don't think the show's given much of Sakaki's character away anyway. It seems the writers have been intentionally vague about anything he does. I guess the last time we saw him do anything major was in the Mewtwo special.
  6. Animal Crossing: City Folk!

Not really my idea for an investment, to be honest. It's still Doubutsu no Mori, but now it's a full price Wii game that only makes it easier for those new to the series by introducing the city. Wi-Fi was pretty good, but for a Wii game, this doesn't really bring much to the table.
  7. Gotta Catch 'Em...Some?

Didn't they dump the slogan later anyway? "Gotta Catch 'Em All" is also a U.S. slogan, no? The Japanese slogan just means "Everyone, go out and catch some Pokémon!" and even that isn't as overused as the popular old American slogan.

  10. The Nintendo DSi Discussion Thread

I honestly think it's a pathetic for people to be moaning about the loss of flash cards. While I'm not against homebrew development, it was about time Nintendo dealt with whatever was needed to stall the flash card market, since the cards would burn their revenue. Doesn't the DS have firmware...
  11. How much RAM do you have?

I had a computer with 256 MB. Running Photoshop and MSN Messenger was ungodly slow. Just using it for MSN and internet browsing was okay, though. My current computer has 1 GB, which is decent.
  12. What's your Storage size?

Hard drive in my computer is 120 GB. I also have a portable 120 GB hard drive. Because I download a lot of anime or make DVD rips, 120 GB actually depletes really quickly.
  13. 2nd Gen Silver...who, what, when, and where?!?!

Pokémon Special draws off the canon presented in the games. The games do imply that the Gold/Silver rival's father is Giovanni. Or do they? It's really all just based on a person's interpretation of the matter. Besides that reference and whatever's revealed in Gold and Silver, that's all the...
  14. 1st Gen Pokemon Green

No, that's not right... In Japan, Red and Green were released first. Blue was released after, and then Yellow was released after that. Blue enhanced the graphics of the original Red and Green in a way. And, when the games were released in America, they were based off Blue and rebranded as Red...
  15. Australia to Censor the Internet

What's Netalert? An Australian filtering system? (Internet in schools anywhere is crap, so it's not just Australia I was referring to.) Perhaps the government thinks that ISP-level filtering is more efficient (it's not)?
