As far as having to figure out new strategies, this game just added a new type! I think that changes things A LOT. Not including the fact movesets are different, and there are new pokemon that probably counter some of the older ones well.

Currently trying to hatch a shiny eevee myself.. In the 1000 egg range. Hard to keep going. Especially when you hear about people hatching shinies in 2 eggs or 4 eggs. Ridiculous.

Praying that they do. Going to spend a lot of Christmas Eve trying to find some.

Same here! Any of those other starters would be fine with me actually. I'm excited. Question for you guys- With it being an app, and having developers and what not testing it, are you guys surprised that we are so close to the release date and no pokemon have slipped through the cracks...

So why even deposit the first egg in the first place? Just save, get your 5, cycle and repeat.

LoveSnoopy, In your last post, you said you never did that method of saving, but in your next response to the last quote, you say you've been doing it the whole time haha. Do you save before or after you deposit the first egg?

This sounds right to me. Up top it says to save BEFORE depositing the first egg, which doesn't make much sense to me.

If the first egg is always the same, why wouldn't you save AFTER you put the egg in the PC, but before you pick up the next 5? I get the process as a whole, just don't understand that step still.. I'm sorry guys.

Love this idea if the soft reset doesn't hatch the same eggs over and over again. I might be dumb for asking this, and I'm sorry - but what is the purpose of putting that one egg in the PC? How does that influence what happens with the following 5?

And pokemon only lay one egg at a time? So that means you constantly have to be checking? Whats the average length of time if you had to guess for most to produce an egg?
