The actual Japanese Pokémon names are somewhat different from the ones posted at the beginning of this thread. The names posted are simply the romanizations of the katakana, the Japanese characters. In fact, most Pokémon have English-sounding-and-looking names, but the romanizations are simply...
You got some of these wrong.
Jessie -> Musashi -> ムサシ
James -> Kojiro -> コジロウ
Professor Samuel Oak -> Dr. Yukinari Orchid -> オーキド・ユキナリ博士
Officer Jenny -> Junsar -> ジュンサー
Giovanni -> Sakaki -> サカキ
Butch -> Kosaburo -> コサブロウ
And, as a bonus:
Botch, etc. -> Kosanji -> コサンジ
I've had loads of stuff. I've given a lot of it away, though. Most of what I have now is Japanese merchandise. The only things I really have interest in anymore are plushies, and my favorites are my Sceptile and Lucario PokéDolls.
Yeah, they know, and I don't care. Back when I was in 8th grade or so, I tried to tell people I didn't like it, but really I did. It was a bad time for me in terms of self-esteem.
My boyfriend makes fun of me sometimes, though.
Umbreon isn't that special. I started with it early on and quickly dumped it for Houndour -> Houndoom.
I finally got around to purifying Lugia last night, and now I'm leveling up while waiting for Miror B to pop up over and over again.
The only thing of any importance my game came with, as far as I can tell, is the instruction booklet. Then again, I won the game instead of bought it, but even then, it was still in shrinkwrap when I got it.
