My first game was Silver, and I played it a lot and loved it. But my favorite gen would be Gen III, specifically R/S/E. Ruby was the first game I ever beat, and I just love the feel and the look and the region. The new Pokemon weren't that bad either
I agree, Kanto has been way overused. It was pretty neat in Gen II, and Firered and Leafgreen were much needed remakes, but now that it's in Heartgold and Soulsilver, I found myself getting kinda annoyed with it being used so much. I wouldn't mind them putting Hoenn in, though.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I have a few questions about the batteries in the Gameboy games. One, what's the usual battery life on them? And two, is it possible to change the battery without losing all your save data? Thanks in advance
Started game with Charmander.
Beat Rival and leveled up to level six.
Leveled up to Lv. 7 and learned Ember.
Made it to Pewter City.
My party at time of save: Charmander Lv. 13, knows Scratch, Growl, Ember and Metal Claw.
Because Surf will also hurt your ally in a team battle. Plus, Waterfall has a 20% Flinch effect, whereas Surf will do double damage to someone underwater.
