Erm. I'm at the Bulbasaur and the Hidden Village, and the water speaks of a raft, yet normally, you would just swim in water. Is that intentional?

*sigh* Seems I can't get the patch to work. :/ After getting a clean rom, I apply the patch. if I try to continue from my old saves, the field is still there, and if I try to start a fresh game, I get hit by a black screen when trying to leave my own roon.

Eh, I have done it a long time ago. I'm merely speaking for other people at this point. :P And, in normal cases: You don't need time to train your monsters at all, just strategy. ;)

And how exactly does you playing a long time change... well, anything? I have played as long. And I'd like to see what kind of strategy prevents you fromm being out-speeded and one-shotted. :/

"Level grind OR have tactics"? Using Ash's team, tactics don't help. Not in this battle.

Yes, because Ash did exactly that, correct? And what I do is irrelevant, I beat her a long time ago, by grinding. Doesn't make it any less ridiculous.

@Ash: Too bad the full speed boost comes only at level 100. Say we got Pikachu to level 30. It would be about 20 extra speed. On what note, that is assuming you haven't fought so much with the Pikachu that you even can max Speed anymore.

And there is the issue. You see, one part (An important part), is that many will be wanting to do this with Ash's pokemon. At this point, the team would be (In your level range): Bulbasaur Charmander Squirtle Pidgeotto Pikachu Out of all these, Pikachu is the fastest. It won't outspeed Kadabra...

@Zumba: And, will you go ahead and point how is that to be done, when the Kadabra outspeeds EVERYTHING, and kills them in one shot, with an attack that never misses

@Meta: Oh, once you paralyze it, it isn't hard. The issue is that you never get the chence to do so. I have to wonder how do you manage to do it without an ridiculous amount of levelgrinding for Pikachu. :/

Is there a reason to not allow them be caught? I mean, sure, Ash didn't catch them, but so many other pokemon would be not allowed then too. Also, was the Kadabra of Sabrina's nerfed a bit? The fastest of Ash's team is Pikachu, and until it can outspeed Kadabra, it will be killed in one shot...

@lodawg: This is the one used in 3.0.

@Ash: Really? I recalled it also neutralized the attack. Eh okay then.

So, the electric thing. I dunno what to think about it reverting back to the original, (Well, not original, but) as there are cases when it worked, and when it didn't :/ Also, how is Blaine's Rhydon with Lightning Rod done?
