I recently replaced BDSP and while those games aren't great, it's shocking a) how much harder the E4 is in that game, lol @ leaving Glimmora for last and b) how much stuff there is to do post game. This is where SV really bothers me. I can deal with the performance issues, I love the open world...
I gotchu
Ball preference, nature? I only have pokeball or luxury ball. I'll have to breed one if you want a luxury ball, and can get you pretty much any nature you want.
Depends on your perspective. Some people like having the ball match the pokemon. Some balls have neat little flourishes when they open. It's strictly aesthetic and only the owner really notices, but you could make the same case for shinies of pokemon that you'd never actually use, but look cool...
Regional forms aren't an issue. You just breed the regional form with a compatible pokemon/ditto with the nature you want, and just give both of them everstones. It will always breed the regional variant but the nature has a 50% chance to be from either parent.
There are definitely a bunch of people who are trading good stuff. I got an Eevee in a moon ball, Charmander in a luxury ball, Rowlet in a friend ball and moon ball, several h-zoruas in various balls, etc. So there are people out there making good faith efforts. Just feels scummy when someone...
Easy solo with Miraidon assuming you don't miss a metal sound (timing is tight).
This depends on a couple of things, but all of them are identifiable very early, so you won't waste your time going down to the wire.
1. I don't know if it's absolutely necessary, but having a Tauros or Staraptor...
IV breeding a) isn't really that bad and b) it's only a cost saving measure as you can simply bottle cap any IVs that aren't perfect.
Any 5-6 star raids will give you 4-5 IVs and you can use those to either breed high IVs or just use that mon.
The biggest PITA, I think, is getting the desired...
I get that this is a scenario where you're essentially giving away pokemon and you aren't guaranteed to get anything good, but seems to me like a Rockruff with 0IVs in a pokeball is something that would be easier and faster to just release.
I guess I'm answering my own question and more just...
I know this is a bit old, but just an FYI for people who don't know: in gen 9, "egg move" is a misnomer because you don't actually have to breed on the egg move like in previous gens. To transfer an egg move, you must:
A) have the Mon with the move you want learned (in this case, a Cloyster) in...
