I played from 1999-2004 and didn't start playing again until 2011. The whole your too old for that thing made me stop playing, but I started missing it around 2010 and started buying everything Pokemon. My collection has become so massive it is amazing.

I don't know why Digimon didn't take off, but I do like Pokemon better. I think they did a poor job marketing, but they completely failed to thrive. Incidentally, I am having a tough time finding Digimon cards at reasonable prices. Everyone on eBay seems to want a lot of money for them.

Nope, it isn't Japanese, it is Chinese. The regular Chinese card I would price at about $0.10 outside of China. There isn't a huge demand for Chinese cards. The English or Japanese version would be $0.50. However, this is the World Championship version and would be valued at about $7.50...

I would wait until the Breakthrough set that comes out in November. The Break Evolution cards look like they may be very powerful. It also looks to me like they are trying to revive the LV. X concept with Break Evolution. One thing I am worried about is if Break Evolution is overpowered...

Does it look like this? If so, it is shadowless Chansey. In near mint condition, I would value it at $12. The regular one is about $3-4.
