Tactically, Infernape. It has greater stats and can learn a mix of different typed attacks. It's also faster, so your sure to get the first hit with Infernape rather than Blaziken!

No, because you end up having to other Pokemon the weakest. So if you stick to one Pokemon, you train it blah blah and then the other Pokemon that you own are alot worse and left out.

Ash isn't an intelligent boy, whenever he sees a Pokemon of some sort, he doesn't even know what it's called half the time. He's lucky he has Dawn and Brock with him, because he wouldn't have gone this far in Sinnoh already. They also make the episodes really kiddish, so not much older people...
