Yo! my Names Cameron i am a pretty big pokemon fan, lets just say the game kept me busy when not much else would. i have rare illness known as MPS 2 which is a storage disorder where my body can't produce certain enzyme that helps break down molecules that build up around main arteries. life span for my disease without treatment is 11 years. when i was diagnosed however there was no treatment. when i was 9 i got chosen one of 12 people from the world to be in a clinical trial to test try the drug that thankfully worked and eventually got approved! during the time from then and now I've lost my ability to walk, but i managed with physical therapy to get it back, after being told not to even attempt middle school and then that high school would require remedial basic, and 5 additional years to graduate to work around my med appointments, it only took 1 additional yea and i graduated with honors :P V
I'm doing good now medically wise i still get the treatment weekly now. pokemon was a way for me to do stuff when i really couldn't in the past. now I'm working on competitive breeding so if you have any tips id love to hear
