If it was real, something like that probably would cause the trainer to be disqualified, so yeah, it might make sense. Although some of the more tense battle moments have been when you just don't know if the Pokémon's actually going to do what it's told or not and what the outcome of that will...
I've only watched a few subbed episodes, but man, I just can't deal with the Japanese voices. I know they're the original voices etc, but yeah.
As for English voices, Meowth grinds after a while, Gary's voice always irritated me, but was that intentional? To make him annoying? Piplup ARGH...
Yeah, Psyduck couldn't swim haha, I've just recently watched an ep where she puts it in a rubber ring so it can go in the water with the others. But yeah, she was probably mean to it 'cause she didn't want to catch it in the first place, like others have said.
Probably my most prized Pokémon-related possession that I own is my secret shiny Emboar card from the Next Destinies expansion. I can't post the photo 'cause it's absolutely huge and I don't know if I can resize it on here, so here's a link to the image. I found it myself in a booster pack...
I couldn't even begin to formulate an argument for why a particular type was "the best", but I personally find endless use in Fire-type Pokémon. Once I have a good one on my team, battles just seem so much easier.
Although that is a good point about Water-types being able to learn some Ice-type...
I wasn't too hot at the battling (nothing's changed!), however I bossed all of the mini games :D the Chansey one was my favourite. On expert (or very hard, whatever it was called) it was insane haha!
I think I just thought it wasn't possible to get a Mew in my game, so yeah, I just never bothered. I got one in SS though, but that was an official event.
This, pretty much. The Power of One was (and still is) my favourite Pokémon film, so I went with Lugia, despite generally loving Fire-types. I do like Ho-Oh as well, just Lugia seems more epic.
I've only ever restarted once, and that was Diamond because I picked Piplup and regretted it. Otherwise, I never have the heart to restart my game and lose everything from it. That's why I usually buy both versions of the games; so I can play it again, do some things differently, yet keep my...
This question is relevant to all games really (apart from BW where all starters get picked), there's always one left. I can't remember in HGSS specifically, but I remember in RB and FRLG the Pokéball just kind of stays there on the table unmoved :( poor thing.
