I think it's only 10th anniversary related. They won't give us so many hints, if the next games are Remakes, because they prefer to suprise their fans. But let's see, what the future will give us now.

Rayquaza was distributed twice this year. At first the Nobunaga-Shiny-Rayquaza-Event and the V-Generator-Rayquaza. ;) So i think, we can be sure that Remakes won't happen next year. Next month we will get movie news in corocoro. So there's possibly a hint, what we will get in the future.

This time i think it's something different because they had enough events in Japan for the last time. (e.g. Keldeo, Meloetta, Genesect, Recital Piplup...) I hope Masuda will give us more hints soon, if there's something special to present at the show. It's best to wait now.
