Required system update?
Does ORAS require a 3DS system update in order to play the game? I'm not talking about a patch for the game, but an actual 3DS system update. I apologize if this is not the correct forum to ask this kind of question.
For me there wasn't an issue. At the beginning of all my pokemon games I notice I don't really care about time, how long things take, etc. I leave the battle scenes on and take my time to enjoy the scenery, but after 4 or 5 gyms I turn them off and run everywhere. I wish they had the run button...
I'm trying to call Whitney for a rematch but all she ever talks about is needing to work hard and improve, in my game its saturday at 3:00 so she should be available to battle.
I would rephrase that say that aren't AS helpful in gameplay :) because they definitely help, if it weren't for many of my non-offensive attacks I would not have beat lance.
My friend only uses offensive moves, she claims that moves that boost stats or inflict status conditions are useless, she is completely wrong right? Non-offensive moves are just as important as offensive moves in my opinion.
Just defeated Lance and the rest of the elite four four the first time, I took care of Gyarados pretty easily but his Charizard really got me! Oh well, now I'm headed to Kanto to continue my journey =]
Up to the first Elite Four, victory road was pretty easy but I am definitely gonna need to train quite a bit before I challenge the masters. Then it's onto Kanto!
^^ Same here, Fuchsia City is fairly difficult so I usually take the cycling road to get fly and take out all those trainers, then I fly to Vermillion to take out those trainers.
I'm new to competitive battling to start off. So there are movesets out there for every pokemon for different strategies and such but most of them aren't learned naturally, are TM's, and egg moves and things like that. My question is how do people get all the moves that they want on a pokemon...
