Some better Ice and Poison types would be nice! As others have mentioned, there aren't enough Fire or Ghost types either.

I'd like to see them throw the whole 'Gym Leader, Elite 4 and Champion' system out the window and try something different. How about a set of challenges you must complete around the region before you can enter a final region-wide tournament? They could even still use Mr. Medal from BW2. Say...

The arrival of Gen 6 is premature I think. I don't see them adding another 150. A dex of 300 sounds about right, with 100 new critters and 200 oldies.

I know it's been said for years, but the introduction of a Light typing would make sense now by looking at these two legendaries. Y-bird looks like a Dark/Flying type to me, while X-deer looks like Light/Steel type.

Poor Froakie, such an ugly little Pokemon. And Fennekin's evolved form better not end up being a Ninetales rip-off. Chespin gets my vote. Looks like I'll be going with the Grass-type starter for the first time since forever.

Do you want to see Challenge Mode return for Pokemon X and Y? I'd much prefer a Normal | Hard | Expert difficulty setting available from the get-go. I enjoyed Challenge Mode for the first two or three gyms in BW2 but eventually the challenge just wasn't really there. :/

I think we already have enough Eeveelutions but I certainly wouldn't mind seeing more. I'd really like to see more alternative evolutions, like using a King's Rock to get Slowking instead of Slowbro, or using a dawn stone on a female Snorunt to get Froslass. I think they make for pretty...
