    Because each of eevees forms specialize in different stats, so one of them has to be defense.

    I feel like pokemon learn human speech similar as a baby learns being around its parents. Except at most likely an accelerated rate, which is really quite astonishing if you think about it.

    I had a sad review of latios and latias in their happiest moments and then latios's death in my dream just a couple days ago, actually.

    In all honesty, I wouldn't be too much like him, but I would probably remind myself as Ash. The thought of getting to travel the world with friends, meeting legendaries (if lucky because it'll be reality and extremely hard to meet them), and raising your own and new pokemon sounds amazing to me...

    Brock

    I agree, Brock was cool, but everyone comes and goes. Brock kinda had a life cycle of flirt, get dumped, and cry. It may not be near annoying, but if you think about it, he's the good version of Team Rocket (The trio that goes after Ash, anyways).

    I have to go with the lati@s siblings. Simply because they are strong willed, not picking fights for entertainment, but can stick up for each other and fight hard enough to stop a tsunami.

    Plot twist: Ash is secretly not a human, explaining why he has stayed 10 for so long and gets the trust of legendaries so easily.
