I don't have as much time as I'd like to work on the hack nowadays, but if you'd be willing I can send you unreleased maps and other graphics to add into the game. I can work on adding core features (like pokédex expansion), plan out in-game events, and give you an idea of the story line...
Interesting to see your take on completing the hack, however, just to note all of the gym leader and elite four teams were already present in the game's 2010 patch. It was fun planning those out. Also the overworld sprite used for the Andre was supposed to be for Blake, a Dark-type gym leader...
For the past few months I haven't been working on Azure Horizons at all due to the fact that uni and my job has given me very little free time to work on other stuff. However, I'm on holiday from uni for a month so I'll be dedicating as much time I can to the hack. With that, here are some...
As much as I'd like to be wrong, my argument still holds merit. If you take a look a comparison of both screenshots from their respective games they are exactly identical right down to every little detail with respect to the placement of the lines on the backgrounds and their palettes.
I can see that you took the indoor battle background, the cave battle background, their palettes, and the overworld for the youngster character directly from beta 2 of my hack without my permission. At the very least you could have listed my name in the credits, and I would've let it slide, but...
The hack may seem forgotten, but it definately isn't dead. I'm still working on it, I'm just not bothering to post any updates.
The hack will be finished in the future. :p
Not too sure about that... like I said in the first post, a good majority of Pokémon up to the 3rd gen will be obtainable. The only Pokémon I'll leave out of the game are some Legendary Pokémon. The player will have to trade from other games if they want them that badly or just want to complete...
Hello, hello everybody. I've been honestly been disappointed by the Beta 2 release due to the amount of glitches everyone has been experiencing. I seem to have been at fault though. The culprit was the wrong ROM I patched the game on to (Fire Red ROMs have different versions...) Since then, I've...
It was.
I'm the mapper.
None of this happened in the Beta testing. It seems like this is bad creation of the patch on my part. I've reuploaded a fresh patch with some changes, hopefully it won't be as glitchy. Also, I have to stress that all of you please make sure your patching the game onto...
After a LONG wait, Beta 2 is now released. What you thought was good, just got a whole lot better. Download is on the front page, read the release notes and the readme inside the download file accordingly. Enjoy people! :)
For the Beta 2 release, you will definitely need to start an entirely new save file. If you start off from the old one, the events will all be messed up particularly due to the fact that I added a few new events at the beginning of the game and some flags and setvars were changed around.
I'm happy to announce that Beta 2 is near completion! It should be released pretty soon.
I don't have anything else to say so here are some screenshots.
Here are some screens of Hazel Town Pokémon Gym. This is the last Gym you'll be able to challenge in Beta 2. I'm not very happy with the tiles, so the Gym's appearance will differ a little from the playable beta.
