well, let's take it like this: in red/blue i used charizard, in gold/silver/crystal i used typhlosyon, in ruby/saphire all of them and torchic rocks, and FR/LG still charmander. i guess u get it that i love fire.

depends for what u want to use it. i always have on it something like this: Fly Ice Beam or Blizzard (depending on mood) Outrage anything that paralyzez target just think what u want him for first, then tell us and we'll tell u.

it's not in Slateport. I don't remember exactely where but it's one of the last contest halls you'll meet in emerald. I think it's where the beauty contest is held, and you get it from someone in a corner, i don't remember exactely who.

here is one BIG PROBLEM : torchic and treeko are much easyer to raise and use while mudkip is a little too hard for my own method. and it's not about weaknesses but about uses. in myopinion torchic is the best. the only thing you have to take care when you have him as your starter is the water...

the contest thing is actually a bit weirder. you'll see once you play. or if you really want to know just check an faq.

everywhere you look you'll only see 2 good starters:torchik and treeko. the best is torchic. ere are some motifs: it looks better, it has more uses and with it, if you know how train it, you can beat just about anything that comes your way. so choose torchic over treeko.

I think there is a need for these codes about now. I don't know about you guys but I sure need them. So, what do you say? Oh, I almost forgot. Two golden rules: 1. no long quoting(it's really annoying!!! :'( ) 2. please don't divert from the subject.
