Well uhh, west, there is the Thundering Desert... no beach with crystal waters and is extremely hard to get passed the desert. So let's make it south, because south, there are tropical areas (volcanoes, rainforests, etc).

Ray grinned to his friend.
"I'm sure you will..."
Jolteon let her trainer pat her.
"You made it... great job" he whispered and hugged her.

"This was the most epic battle I've ever had!"

"Finally, a mistake!" Ray yelled as he saw Haunter diving into the Thunder jolts of discharge. Ohh that was gonna hurt, for sure.

"Can't you understand that you're unable to hit us?"
Jolteon used ExtremeSpeed to dodge the incoming earthquake and charging from the jolts of the arena and her own discharge, she went straight into the crater, cutting the air like an electrical knife. She passed through the dust, and returned to her trainer.

Ray thought she was overcharged. She could take it though. That was for good.

(Wait, I'm not gonna lose. I'm gonna win this. It'll be the first pvp Pokemon battle I'd truly win because of my brains.)

Haze was sucked up and the Shadows weren't in their element now. But still they were very powerful. But, that dark hole could mean the end. So..

"Jolteon, hold up!" Jolteon stopped the attack and the clones, like an army, stopped too.
Ray looked at Haunter who was making the black hole... Jolteon was close and he couldn't move. Perfect.
The jolts around the stadium were still around, but these close to the dark hole were sucked in it.

"Jolteon, use Discharge! Now if Haunter avoids the attack and go up, the dark hole will be very small and be lost in a matter of time. But if you choose to stay on the ground, you'll be hit by a powerful electric attack!"

The clones of Jolteon remained as shadows and awaited Jolteon's command. But she wanted to keep them like that. She didn't need any help on discharge.
She let loose of her electricity and pointed it right in Haunter.

(Dude how many moves your pokemon knows? and how many can it execute on a single round?)

The stadium was still covered by electricity which lighted things up a little.
But Jolteon was still a shadow, and Haze has shadow's element.
"Jolteon, regroup and mix up with your clones and let them use ShadowSneak!"
All the clones became shadows and Poison Jab couldn't hit them. Instead, they all attacked Haunter. Maybe he knew where he was striking, but he didn't know what he was striking.

(Die already! I'm using your tactics againist you, there's no way you can win!)

"I've waited for this a looong time! Time for a good comeback! Also.. you're down on the ground! HA!"
The electricity gathered around Haunter and started jolting him. Great.

"Jolteon... use Mirror Move!" shouted Ray. This was surely the end. Ray thought ShadowSneak was unmissable.

Jolteon saw Haunter using ShadowPunch at the clone next to her. He charged at him, mimicking his move. She was a shadow and although the feeling was new, she felt good. Haunter couldn't possibly be faster than her so it was sure going to be a clear hit, and final blow. And, she was right next to Haunter.

"Okay, so if that's how you want it... time for extreme battle moves!" All the Jolteons knew those words. They gathered electricity on their fur...

"Jolteon, use ExtremeSpeed to manipulate the air around the shadow earthquake!"
All the clones vanished instanly. They were faster than warp speed, that's what Ray liked. They were so fast they went behind the earthquake in the crater where VoltShadow hit. With their speed, they manipulated the wave and send it back to Haunter.

Ray smiled as this move never let him down.

"You lost the extreme battle! You can't win, admit it! If you don't quit extreme battling and don't lose normally, I'm gonna have to use Jolteon's ultimate move!"

Ray was starting to get frustated with all this. Time to assure winning once and for all. Some of the Thunder jolts were hitting the stadium... and made the rocks shiny... that gave him a terribly awesome idea.

"Jolteon, descend to the ground! Loose your electricity to the stadium!" Jolteon let elecricity loose to the stadium and started falling with low speed. She touched gently the rocky ground with her fine paws and mixed up with her clones that were near.

"Use Discharge on the ground with maximum power! If Haunter tries to get close, hit him!"
The rocks were shining from the electricity. After millions of sparks and jolts, the whole stadium was a death trap of thundering rocks. The electricity was flowing all around like an uncontrolable energy, which was centering on Jolteon and instead of hurting her, it made her stronger because of Volt Absorb.

"Stand ready..."
All of her clones and her sat down and stared at Haunter and prepared the only move she could execute from down there.
Ray thought the view was very freaky.

"Let's see what you're gonna do now..." whispered.

Ray saw what Haunter was doing. Jolteon was much faster. But he had to deal with Ominous Wind before wiping the Ghost Pokemon.

"Jolteon, try and force the dark air with your electricity to make you float"
Jolteon was like flying. She was using her speed, jumps and all this air for her advantage. She went to Haunter's height. Can't believe that worked.

"Jolteon, charge yourself and use Thunder again!" Jolteon wasn't at melee range, but Thunder could always hit. Jolteon charged her fur and made a huge lightning which was heading towards Haunter with incredible speed.

The clones were watching like mindless puppets from the ground. Maybe Ray could use them. "Clones, go under Jolteon!"

That might also be an effect of Jet Lag.
