Unlike how nuzlocke youtubers would lead you to believe, randomized Pokémon (at least if you use Universal Pokémon Randomizer ZX) has a ton of options on how you would like to randomize your game while still being fair.
With that said, I'd like to share some cool customizations you can use on...
I've been arguing with some people about how neither Marill nor Mimikyu count as Pikaclones for not being Electric type, but really, what do we consider a Pikaclone, and why do we even use the term? In my opinion Pikaclones have to be electric types with a friendly appearance, but for some...
I'll just give it to you straight: I lost 4 runs in a row without even getting to Norman.
Yeah yeah I know, pathetic, but I think I just suck at nuzlockes, I don't know what to tell ya.
Second run went fine up until Brawly, where my Tentacool died again, which was fine considering the same...
My grueling hunt for Feebas led me to finding it on... The fourth tile of route 119. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie I was really lucky to get Feebas that fast. I decided to name it Hopefish and caught it with the Master Ball from the Aqua Hideout to signify it being the hope of the run possibly not...
The Hoppip line sucks a lot in Gen 2, and I bet it does in HGSS too. Those guys just don't get enough damaging moves that are actually useful.
Altaria in Gen 3 is kinda hard to use because of it's evolution level, and horrible pre-evo.
Onix sucks. No, that's it, Onix sucks on every conceivable...
Now that Norman is defeated I finally got to have access to Surf, allowing me to, well, surf. That by itself isn't that useful, but on the route to the right of Mauvile I can get a Good Rod from a fisherman, which allows me to get a lot, and I mean a LOT of Pokémon, so let's speed through this...
Welcome to my very first Monotype Hardcore Nuzlocke!
Since Hoenn is the generation with the most water types out of all generations (at least as far as I know), and water is a starter type, I decided that for my next nuzlocke after the Pokémon Crystal Nuzlocke I'd play Pokémon Emerald with...
Some more serious suggestions:
-If you're not using rare candies for leveling up, always train in areas that pose 0 threat to your Pokémon, even if it takes time. It always hurts to lose Pokémon while training.
-Crits kill more Pokémon than you'd think, so plan around them by making sure your...
Although I usually prefer to watch Hardcore nuzlockes from people like FlygonHG, what I most watch consistently are Jrose's challenge videos, those rankings are just too satisfying to watch.
First time I played Pokémon Silver a long time ago, before even knowing english, I decided to pick Totodile because it just looked cool to me. Ever since then I don't think I've ever beaten GSC with a starter other than Totodile.
