How large is the pokedex in this game? Catchables and evolutions

Looking for a save file before the elite four for the rom hack AshGray. I did the orange badges before taking on the elite four which was a big mistake.

Is it possible to get back to pallet town after the orange league badges and "saving the world"? or does anyone have a save file before elite four? Thanks

I'm pretty sure my game is broken. I can't fight the water trainer in the pokemon league. The guard before the pokemon league says the pokemon league has not begun yet. The registration lady at the pokemon league says otherwise. The water guard says I do not have anything scheduled... I did...
