Okay, I only have one shiny pokemon that I obtained recently and is really worth listing: Zorua I hatched it, I prefer the idea of breeding shinies to finding them in the wild. I am currently trying to breed for a shiny Snivy, but when I have succeded I will move on the other two starters of Unova.

I personally prefer to hack Emerald myself, I like the visuals and music of the game a whole lot more than FRLG, and the FRLG music is in there anyway. The in-game clock also makes it simple to implement day/night cycles, which I could never get to work with FRLG.
