If you'd like to finish it, try looking for the manga online and find where you're up to, because I reckon the manga is much better.Also, I know what you mean about that part of the series losing it's touch, but it ends up building up to something better. Otherwise, just go on with the series...

I disagree, taking Ash out of the series would ruin Pokemon for at least two generations of kids/teenagers who have practically grown up with him. Keep Ash as the protagonist for as long as the Pokemon series exists, I say.

I can't stand them! Death Note was meant to be such a deep and insightful look into a new world and it's been completely infected and obliterated by fantards. To be honest, I have not seen a single episode, however I went to the effort of BUYING and READING the entire manga series and I'm sure...

Would be wicked if they actually brought Richie into the series a lot more. But he only seems to make special "guest" appearances in movies and such.

I think the idea of Ash NOT catching strong or powerful pokemon is because he seems to think that they technically "don't need him". Thus, he doesn't attempt to capture them. It seems to be that way with a lot of Pokemon in most of the series. But that's just my theory on it.

As a matter of fact, throughout almost the entire first season (and almost the entirety of Ash's journey), Ash makes some preeeeeeeetty stupid choices. I.e. sending out the wrong types to fight against each other, and not only in this episode; but in a LOT of episodes. Kinda makes you think how...

Yeah, but that if you actually remember, that was because the Onix got doused in water making it not only weaker, but prone to electric attacks. Whereas with Krabby and Exeggutor, not only is it an unfavorable matchup, but the Exeggutor would have had hands on battling experience, where Krabby...
