Whichever version I play first, I keep the save file and that becomes my main thing. Then, for the complementary version (ex. Blue as opposed to Red), I allow myself to restart as much as I like, trading over the items and pokemon I care about of course.
Magnemite doesn't have a tail, whereas the other two have (at least) one. Also, Magnemite has 3 syllables in its name, whereas the other two have six letters each and two syllables in their names.
Igglybuff, Azurill, Cleffa
Who wants to have a Wonder Launcher battle with me?
...I guess there's a reason they didn't bring that back in Gen 6. In-game I try to avoid healing items if I can, even though it's annoying when the opposing gym leaders clearly do not do the same. Healing moves, on the other hand, are fair...
On HMs: HMs are being de-emphasized anyway lately, especially in Black and White where it's possible to go through the entire main story without needing HMs. Personally, I like the Pokemon Zeta/Omicron approach -- have the HMs available normally, and then hide a Key Item that replaces the need...
I've seen a few game shops charge about $15-$20 just for the service of replacing a dead battery for Gen 2 games (the charge does not include the cost of the new battery, which you would also have to pay for). Having done the process myself, I definitely think the service isn't worth it, but...
Moo Moo Milk easily, heal twice as much HP for 200 bucks less? Sweet deal! The only thing that hurts is lack of availability to buy in bulk.
Pokestar Studios in Black 2/White 2 or the Pokeathlon in Heart Gold/Soul Silver?
Username: Jolteon Dan
Eeveelution Partner: :t135: Jolteon (bet that's a shock)
On Flareon: I agree that a STAB priority move would be great for Flareon, especially since it has Guts and could make use of a Toxic Orb/Guts/Priority combo. The only downside is Toxic plus Flare Blitz recoil would...
In-game, I like fast pokemon that can hit hard. Competitively, in 3rd Gen. which is my favorite, I typically preferred a more defensive team though I liked to play Baton Pass as well. Nowadays, I go for high offense preferring sweepers that can boost up though nearly all of my teams have at...
Platinum came out before Heart Gold/Soul Silver, but Emerald came out after Fire Red/Leaf Green.
I certainly wouldn't rule out Pokemon Z just because the remake games were announced. What I'm more concerned about is the Pokemon Stadium/Oore games being a thing of the past. Now that there's...
My username and avatar might be an indication.
Anyway, I've always liked Jolteon the most because of its spiky appearance and because of its high speed and usefulness in battles (especially with Specs STAB Volt Switch). I like the other Eeveelutions a lot as well, especially Espeon and Vaporeon.
