you have to make a trade while the pokemon is in GTS for it to work. I did this with ALL of my trade to evolve guys (I'm a little paranoid about people stealing them).

i had to trade my dusclops w/ item to evolve it. well actually I used the GTS, but same diff.

Although I think he would have been better off wording it differently, it is in his right to ask people. I have seen some threads where people give away shinies and legendarys, and someone was even nice enough to give me a lengendary for free. Also you shouldn't post in a trading thread unless...
