Where is the Contest Move data in R/S/E?

Looking through this thread, I see "I will do it with NO HESITATION". I have a bit of a reputation for being a pokemon fanatic, so anyone who knows me (which somehow seems to be everyone- I really don't understand how that works) will get out of the path between me and the game if they see me. XD

Well, I would think that someone using the patch could do that rather easily themselves, since the patch does all the hard work. Unless I'm mistaken, wouldn't it just take looking at what the patch has done to the pokemon data and replicating the effect?

The numbers on the left are the hex locations, the numbers on the right are the hex values you need to put in. If you don't have a hex editor, you'll need one- I use XVI32 myself.

Ah, thanks, I didn't realize that the starter you choose can be used as a variable. 0_o But I didn't realize that the rival name could be called on by the trainer class. That's pretty cool, actually.

Thanks for all the help! I think I figured out what the second set of data is- while the first is an offset, the first and second bytes in the second set act as a bookmark of sort, showing where the move data begins, and the third and fourth bytes (aka 00 00) show where the attack data ends...

If this seems like a noobie question- well, it kinda is. ._. Um. I've been trying to figure out the hex in the m_attack.bin file and monster.bin file... but I'm a little lost. I noticed that both Sky and Time/Darkness have a pretty regular pattern of two zeros, then two numbers, then back...
