I've recently released a game I made with Pokemon essentials for the October 2016 game Jam. It's called the Uxie Caves.
-Uxie Caves; It focuses on a protagonist who recently lost their memories in an accident just as they were about to embark on a Pokemon journey. This keeps them at home even though they don't remember any of the people in the town anymore. Concerned friends suggest that you try to regain your memories by delving into the dark, mysterious Uxie Caves in order to seek an audience with Uxie, who is said to have the power to restore memories.
The caves are long and to advance you have to light up all the torches (I got the idea from the legend of zelda puzzles).

Other notes;

I have also been periodically working on another Essentials project, it's called Mewtwo's Quest. The story is that when the protagonist was young they got lost in a forest and Mewtwo's decides to guide them out. Years later, they seek out Mewtwo and so Mewtwo gives them a challenge. The challenge isn't explicitly outlined at first but Mewtwo wants them to try and save the Crestine region, which has been in turmoil as Pokemon attacks have suddenly become more frequent and vicious. It's led the local governments to pass laws forcing People to become trainers for their own protection and many are angry about it. Mewtwo wants you to locate the true source for this strife and your journey starts with you being teleported into this foreign region, in an abandoned old town. I've almost done 3 gyms worth so far but I might restart as I'm not sure if I'm happy with how it's been going so far.

Another thing I've been working on is to revamp the default essentials tile sets. They are essentially 16x16 tiles enlarged to 32x32 so I'm going to alter them so they are 32x32 tiles, meaning they will be more detailed and just look better. The tile sets are massive and it's a slow process but I hope to have done a significant amount of the Outside tileset by Christmas.
