I think I use a combination of both, but mostly I avoid using OU because it's a little boring to use pokemon that EVERYONE else uses(and never legendaries). What makes battling fun after all is to meet different pokemon :) I chose pokemon that I like even if they necessarily aren't very strong...

Really dude, it's fine. I have an idea though. If I send you a Poliwhirl with King's Rock it will evolve. My suggestion is that you take the Choice Band it carries and then send the evolved Poliwhirl back to me :)
