Fateful Encounters are not the issue. Had no problem going in with other Pokés that had a Fateful Encounter. Volbeat's DW Ability is Prankster. I have no problem getting in with Pokémon such as Drizzle Politoed, so no, I don't think that's the problem.

I decided to go with Shed Shell Ferrothorn, the previously listed Politoed and Jolteon, Sub + Dragon Dance Kingdra, Bulky Ludicolo, and Life Orb Scizor. Sorry I didn't go to indepth on these, but you can always look on Smogon if you want. ^_^ I'm feelin' a bit lazy.

Just use Pokégen. There are many tutorials out there. It's basically what every competitive battler uses.
