Would I to find and reassign each script in the game?

It has been suggested since I would need it to be nearly double the size of a 16mb rom to 32 that I use a game maker like RPGmaker over making a rom hack. What do you suggest guys?

enough so that 3-4 trainers can be without being crowded and without it being to much open space

I have to double the size of the rom and then I think reassign everything size the size is doubled so if you could just get Emerald and Advance Map it and make a quick out side and inside cave that leads to a dead end.
