I'm not sure if this is the issue or not but it seems to work better when you insert each one at a time instead of 2 at a time. Either that or you insert all 4 in a single picture. Are you sure that it's sized properly too?

Well you could delete your sav file or you might have to re-download the entire game again.

The best thing you can do is go to an earlier version of the game before you saved those changes.

This is just a note, when placing the palette for the professor in my game the palette was not the one listed at the beginning of this tutorial.

I think I found a way of getting around needing photoshop by using PEdit to convert my pal files to act files but I still am not sure how I'm messing up on this. I have the image of the correct size and then I export the color palette and then convert it to an act file. Then I load the picture...
