Old Name: Mr Ghost
New Name: Ghost
I don't have 100 posts yet but the account that has this name hasn't been on since 2004 and wasn't active to begin with, so if it's cool I'd like to have the name.
Ok so I can insert tileset 1 perfectly, but I've tried several ways I can think of on inserting tileset 2 and whenever I try A-Map just freezes then crashes. Help please?
I've tried every plausible way I can comprehend from this guide and idk if I'm just not getting something or if the translation is bad but I always end up with either 2 colors on the entire tileset even after I insert the palettes or a bunch of jumbled together pieces.
So let's say I wanted to rip tilesets from Pokemon Gaia or something and put said tilesets into my rom. How would I go about doing this without the palettes/tiles/rom messing up? Might be a newbie question but all I can find are tutorials on how to insert your own tiles and not how to port full...

Don't worry, it'll be a whole new story with new characters and maps. (and I don't mean just a reskinned FR). It also won't be heavily centered around the story, though, so you can play it in any way you please.
It's a Fire Red rom hack. I've had much more experience as I've been hacking since the Dark Rising days, but I hope to create something that looks like an entirely new game and not just a re-skin of Kanto.
