I noticed something, you need a clean rom without the save patch applied, to the UPS patch to work. I downloaded the rom dumped by squirrels and it came with a ips that "fix" the saving issue, so do not patch this ips.

did you go to your native city? or defeated the gym that is in a route? KBM my togetic frequently uses the move "nothing" when using metronome.

are the save states compatible with pc emulatort, maybe you can clear that area and then transfer to your psp

if you use save states, why don't you load a save state and then save normally?
