I thought as much. Unfortunatly this 3v3 format means more emphasis is on predicting which 3 your opponent will bring and (more importantly) which they will send out first.

What is the reasoning behind making players choose 3 mons to fight with on battlespot?

Every mega kangaskhan runs sucker punch. It's probably the most PP up'd move in 6th gen LOL All you have to do on battlespot is send kang out first, mega and spam sucker punch, unless they spot this OP tactic at the team selection screen and send out a counter first turn.

You need to dedicate one spot to counter mega kangaskhan's OP godliness. I usually bring Rhyperior for that. Solid rock, Jolly, 5 ivs, max speed max attack evs, rock polish and weakness policy.

I'm disappointed by their designs tbh. Very plain and boring.

That makes the game boring. You have to design your team around countering a pokemon they might not even have, rather than your own strategy.
