  • Let's see... I know I'm visiting London. I think I'm visiting somewhere in France and Italy. I know there's a fourth place but I can't remember!

The manga is more "mature". The biggest maturity difference between the anime and manga, and even the games and manga, is that half the gym leaders are evil, all the elite four are evil, and they are pretty much out to /kill/ the protagonists. So yeah, killing, it's the major maturity difference, pokemon attack humans and all that jazz. Gym badges possess special powers... (Or at least, this is how the earlier arcs of the manga go.)

Basically? Y'know all the characters you can pick from in the games? They're /all/ in the manga as the protagonists. Except Yellow. Yellow is the Pokemon Aventures manga's own creation who has never been seen outside the manga despite being pretty darn popular. She's also one of the few with her own story arc. Oh, and y'know how Crystal version has Crystal and Heart Gold / Soul Silver has Lyra? Technically they're the same in the manga. Crystal just... starts dressing in Lyra's outfit in one of the later arcs. (I think the HG/SS arc)

    (The arcs are as followed.)
    Red Blue and Green arc
    Yellow arc
    Gold Silver and Crystal arc
    Ruby and Sapphire arc
FireRed and LeafGreen arc (Takes place in sevii island and stars same characters from RGB arc, only older)
Emerald arc (Focuses on the Battle Frontier)
    Diamond and Pearl arc
Platinum arc (Platinum is actually the name of the female D/P hero, Diamond of the male, and Pearl of the rival. This focuses on the Battle Frontier and Distortion World)
HeartGold and SoulSilver arc (Stars the GSC heroes in a brand new plot.)
Black and White arc (Stars Black, the male b/w hero, Cheren, and Bianca, and slightly later down the road, White, the female b/w hero.)

I've actually never seen N in the manga, but that being said any manga starting with platinum isn't even finished yet. HG/SS and B/W arc are ESPECIALLY new.

Oh, and there are also a few hidden adult jokes in the manga, the kind that would probably fly over younger kid's heads.

But yeah! I highly recommend the Adventures manga. For right now, I'll recommend any arc up to the G/S/C arc. I hear the R/S arc is good too, but RGB, Yellow, and GSC are supposed to be commonly accepted as the best.
    No, I haven't really decided yet. :/
I'm not really sure if I am a leader.
But when I try, it's discouraging when my sister does everything right while my parents are still stuck on me liking Pokemon.
Thanks for translating~ ^^'' I had NO idea what it meant... :v I just thought it looked funny~ ;)
I've posted on the Layton fanclub! :) Have a look if you have time~ XD
That name is just cruel... I love me a good BBQ, idc where it came from, I love it. Hmm, a good Meat lover's pizza or a good Burrito? Damn that's hard. It depends on my mood (Or how easy they are to obtain) but dammmmmm.
I just had the BEST idea... I'm just gonna tell you now, I live in Melbourne cuz using Melbourne makes telling you my idea easier.

Anyway, I want to get together 8 people who live around Melbourne and have them get together a team based on a certain type of Pokemon. They'd be stationed around Melbourne and have semi easily portable cardboard mazes or a something that they can drive around in and set up somewhere. But staying there all the time isn't gonna happen. So, to get around that I'll set up a website. People can make appointments for battling the gym leaders and then they have to go to the specified meeting point (Each gym will always be set in the same spot) and the gym leader will be there with their porta-gym set up and waiting at the end of it. The challenger then goes through the porta-gym and fights the gym leader. If they win they get an actual badge.
So, with 8 of these around Melbourne, Melbourne would have it's own Pokemon League! And if it gets popular enough I could set up a yearly tournament where people with all 8 Melbourne badges can participate.

    How awesome does that sound?
Both. Garchomp, Dragonite, Flygon and Salamence are equally cool in their own right. Outside of those type combos, Hydreigon takes the cake for that one, despite being really hard to get.
    Geez. >w< I'm going on vacation to Europe this winter and I'm slightly terrified that I'm going to do something and get hurt. That or run away from anything that moves in my general direction. >w>;

I watched quite a few of the older episodes, but I don't really watch it often anymore. I'm a bigger fan of the games and manga.
They've always wanted me to be a leader, and use that same term. XD
Just take a step farther than anyone else, but I've yet to do that.
Heh, I get the two confused. Psychology is when you let people sit in chaises and you listen to them? And the psychiatrist is like any other doctor. I agree with that though; stay away from the pills. And America is all about having this pill and that pill. Even our TV commercials are about what pills to take. It's a business opportunity and nothing more. Just like buying a new car. Of course it's always great to have more degrees. You do get more pay. Yeah it's very tough, but I realize why it's so demanding, because they need people with the same skills and experience they have, not from one who doesn't have much. They look for a person with lots of credentials, not just a Bachelor's degree. Of course, the more degrees the better. *shrug* I did want to go for Master's, but thought it'd be more practical to do an MBA instead. It's a very popular line, engineer/business.
The reason why Hydreigon was hard to take out for a lot of people was because of:
    -its high Special Attack (125)
-its 98 Speed lets it outspeed a good portion of Unova Pokemon
-its unresisted coverage of Dragon Pulse, Surf, Fire Blast and Focus Blast

Do you also remember seeing Lance's underleveled Dragonite in the Johto games?
I've gone down the street in my trackies... I felt like an idiot but I wanted Malteasers and I couldn't be bothered changing my pants... xD But replace Gus with Joe or Betty and Beryl with Wendy and it fits perfectly :D

I just couldn't justify naming my kid after an anime character at all. But yeah, it is a cool name... I doubt it'd lead to bullying, it's not as bad as some names kids get. After looking it up I might decide on naming a kid Shanks, I mean if there are kids called Apple and Camera and Audio Science then naming him after an awesome anime character is fiiiine xD
Yes. Meat Pies are awesome. So are tacos. Although I think burritos would be the meal of Gods. What can top a burrito? < It may be un-Australian saying that but seriously, it's burritos... There's a hell of a lot of hate in this country.
Ah. x3 I've never been to Australia. I've just heard it was a really bad idea to approach Kangaroos due to them being pretty aggressive and was surprised because I'd always believed them docile. Hence, I proceeded to eternally make fun of myself regarding it.

    I get on... whenever. |D
Yeah, there are a lot if ways it could be used really. Especially since packaging is like, everything now. x)

What do you want to do?
Yeah I do but I quit Youtube so I won't be adding more AMV's up there. My fanfics don't really deal with the whole entire "Gym leader" battle thing. It's really different. I mainly base it on the characters; having Cilan and Chili going on a journey with Jun/Barry, Ruby, etc and then their brother turning evil because of being jealous; that type of thing. When I do fanfics with the regular Pokemon way it becomes boring to me and then I don't finish writing it.
Yeah, the same as the British, I assumed. Wow, that's a big ambition you have! What are you planning to do? I graduated uni, as an electrical engineer.
