I can agree with what most people are saying. I always catch the regis in those generation games but they get a little too much love. Way too much work for not much outcome. They do all play a part in the pokemon league if you feel like putting all your time in them. Takes forever to train...

First time I played I'm pretty sure I went with mudkip. Everytime I end up playing a 3rd gen now win, I wind up with torchic. Swampert (mudkip's final stage) is a good pokemon, but it's no match for combusken (torchic's final stage). Both powerful pokemon. Treecko is iffy, not bad but theirs too...
