I see. I can understand that feeling. I guess in the beginning they weren't thinking too much in terms of balance. They did get there acts together eventually though.

But I guess I can't say much. I still haven't played red or blue versions XD

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! You have to play it!!! LOL XD But I have to say, I did enjoy Gen III. I didn't get to play Emerald though.

But it can be hard to choose a favorite when I love so many Pokemon from all the gens. I think I like Gen V for the story. But for shear size and game play, I still choose Gen II
