I'm a not-so-new to the Pokemon games player. I was obsessed with the idea of Pokemon as a kid, somehow not being allowed to watch/play it made it all the more tantalizing, and I first picked up the game series when Diamond came out. In those years, I have gone from being unaware that Pokemon have genders and types, to full blown EV, IV trained competitive battling. I have since gone back and played all the earlier games, including the wondrous Blue, and while I have no childhood nostalgia associated with it, I enjoyed the fresh retro feel.

Other than Pokemom, I enjoy baking, I love caring for numerous exotic pets. Currently I have a tarantula, 2 hissing roaches, and a praying mantis. Up until recently I also always had an African Pygmy Hedgehog. I love Pokemon because I have a thing for collecting and an enormous thing for animals, and playing the games fulfills both without turning my house into a clutter den. I love digital art and intend to major in Graphic Design in college. I also love My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (don't judge :P it's epic), Doctor Who, and Glee. I like macabre and predatory creatures, and my three favorite types of Pokemon in order are Steel, Bug, and Ghost. Steel/Bug types just melt my heart away in particular.
