Started playing games when I was 2 or 3. We were very poor when I was young, so I was unable to get the latest and greatest things. When I was 9, my step brother gave me a gameboy color. My mom then bought a copy of Pokemon Red and Blue online from someone in Toronto. After that, my obsession with the franchise began. Soon after, she cobbled together enough funds to get me a Nintendo DS and a copy of Pokemon Diamond. After that, I became truly hooked and collected the trading cards. I distinctly remember my hype for Pokemon Black and White. It was one of my most anticipated games ever. I got it at launch and played it endlessly. After that, it became a little fuzzy. I definitely played Pokemon games, but I fell off it a bit. I started to get older and grow out of Pokemon in some ways. Of course, that love for the franchise came back every year or so when a new game dropped, but it was different. Fast forward to now, I'm 25 and still playing the series. My wife and I play games together actually.
