The baby horsea is still blue, just more blue-green I think. It's the other two evolutions that are purple. If you were trying to trade it for outrage though, I need to give you my son's FC so I don't have to play trading merry-go-round :)...

And about the quick fast balls, yeah, I know what you mean. Took me awhile to realize the difference as well. Basically took me until I was harvesting apricorns for my own apricorn balls in soul silver starting late last year. Oh, and do let me know if you wanna trade that shiny horsea back...
