1 question before I do that, can I just make a new sprite table with it's own palette table that is completely seperate from the first?
Forgot to mention NSE is just like Overworld Editer RE, only it has more functions.
EDIT: I guess I didn't read close enough, I beleive you answered my...
Wow, I can't beleive I missed the most important bit of information. x.x Anyways I am using fire red, and I want to be able to use that palette in NSE (Nameless Sprite Editor).
So maybe this question won't be buried yet again, does anyone know how to add another sprite overworld palette besides the default few, I want to add a couple new sprites, but I need a new palette so I don't mess up any other sprites.
http://www.mediafire.com/?drmznb2fiz5 Try this program, use NSE to open the rom and then go to sprite, then file, export, Nameless Sprite Library. Then Open NSL and import the Sprite Library you just exported, then import your new sprites into the existing one, save it then import the modified...
I think I came across that before on google before I found this site, but I couldn't seem to find it again. All I can say is google it, sorry that isn't much help, but that is all I can think of.
*sigh* That is so easy.... All you need are 2 simple tools, VBA and APE. Have fun and good luck doing your own work, or if you still insist on other people doing stuff for you get on google.
Pointers are in HEX, and if you want to search for where the pointer is in ur quote, you need to revers the first 6 bytes, and add 08 to the end.
10 66 48 08 is a pointer that is pointing to the offset
0x486610 or 00486610 depending on your HEX editor
So you need to go to the offset 486610
Somebody correct me if I am wrong. They should, but the palettes and anything else different with the sprites will be wrong. You would have to repoint everything for them.
Ok, so I was wondering if there was a way to track your playtime, and set it to another location in the rom along with where ever it is stored normally so it can be used as a sort of internal game clock so that I can customize how long the day lasts, like in The Elder Scrolls games 1 minutes is...
