Well the game is easy enough that thankfully use your favorites, bar things like Delibird. Doesn't discount the fact that Umbreon is pretty bad relatively no matter how you slice it.

Umbreon is slow and weak offensively. It has a terrible offensive movepool and poor coverage. In gamewise, you pretty much want the exact opposite. Fast and Strong offensively so you're not prancing around every wild pokemon just to level up. This is why pokes like Archeops are so good, and...

Jasmine is one tough girl to crack in Type Experts. I don't have any special sweepers in terms of my EV trained steel types, and her Cursing Skarmory massacres (very painfully and slowly) my entire team.

Depends on your performance. i.e. number of pokes fainted. I had a rough time. Not enough special sweepers bred, and the Hitmontop/intimidate spam kills me.

It's about the same difficulty as the Super Single Train in the Battle Subway. What was extremely difficult was the download tournaments. Definitely the hardest ingame battles ever to grace a pokemon cartridge. The Junior Division was nuts. Worth more than 2 BP for my wins imo.

Pokemon lose their HP too fast for this to take off. If they did a whole new revamp with their battle system(not going to happen), then 3v3+ formats might be possible.
