You can find many tutorials on line for adding Pokemon that would explain much better than me, and yes you can use any of the 383 Pokemon anywhere in your game
because it infitely loops the pop up with the question untill i do
in A-map go to insert, create new maps, and select new bank and chose the numer of maps, then when you make a new map, use insert, select the second option (i think it is free space or somthing) then select the map bank you made...
i created b from scrap and a from map 0.17, and then reinserted it to 34.11 and when i try to insert 34.11 to 0.17 it asks me to save a bunch of time and continues the loop untill i say no, then when i go to 0.17 i get :
advancedmaperror(5): the value at $308858 is not a pointer

i am trying to make it so to fight the gym leader you have to activate three computers in the correct order, but it dosent seem to be working,

This is driving me insane as there is no logical explanation I can find, also when you enter a building in map b then exit, map a is completely gone from sight and there are just border tiles
If your using pksv I recommend disappear instead of hidesprite, and I am pretty sure you put his sprite on set it as hidden, then use the reappear function thing in pksv.
Or use dissapear in the map script fir when you enter the map, then use reappear 0x(person event number) to make him reappear
that solves the crazy tiles but not why you can go from map a to be but you can't go back from map b to a, and both maps b and a have the same exact tile-sets. and yes i have connections set both ways with offsets of zero for both
Same here, the offsets match as do the tilesets( which happen to be zero and two also) but it still wont let me back, plus the tiles freak when I first enter the map until I can't see them any more than move back to see them
my huge problem is this:
i start on map A and walk up into map b, but when i try to walk back down from b to a it blocks me as if there is a wall, and if i walk back and forth on map b i can see all of map a is gone and replaced with the border tile except the part i could see when i entered...
does anyone know the offset / sprite number for spinda's spots? i just went thru every sprite in unlz but i couldnt find it, or i missed it. (im using a ruby rom)

Anybody know the offset for the champion battle in ruby, along with how to make the end credits roll?
No matter what I can't find the champion(steven)'s offset in the elite four, everything has $000000 in a-map and there are no scripts
I copied them and it didn't work, but when I changed the vat number to a new one it suddenly worked, but now my sprite turns away instead of him facing me
Do you mean copy the numbers from another event, or base them off the other numbers, if you mean the second could you help me understand how to do that?
