Can it be done? I ask this because I'm getting a DS and FireRed, but the shop sells two versions, the cheaper one without the free wireless adapter, and the more expensive one with wireless adapter included... So my question is, can Pokemon be traded in FR/LG using Wi-Fi instead of a wireless...

Are you sure about the trading part? 'Cause last time I checked, the Jap version of FR couldn't trade with the EU version of FR... And about the hotspot, you mean as long as you have wireless broadband at home, then you can Wi-Fi? 'Cause I have wireless broadband. ^^

Hi people. Thinking of getting a DS since I really want to play D/P, but I'd like to clear some stuff before that. How does the Wi-Fi work? Can you link up with the whole world from home? Or do you have to go to a hotspot or something to do it? And if so, what is the radius of the hotspot...

Right. The current Pokemon 'Anime' series should be scrapped, and Pokemon Special shoulkd be made into an Anime to replace it. ^^
