In my opinion your not missing anything. Just a recent Meme trying to get more attention. It feels like it's less about the actual gorilla and more about this Personality the Meme has created. Watching the actual video shows a human child was in real danger, and perhaps using a tranquilizer...

I agree the design is really good. But Harambe should not be interjected into the Pokémon world. It would open up a world of pandering to the internet community, and that's beneath Nintendo and Game Freak.

The official SM site has been updated. It now features Zygarde's core & forms in the Pokémon section. Zygarde will definitely be playing a role in the story, especially given the description "There are many more Cells than there are Cores, and they exist all around the Alola region". Thoughts?
